Supports the efforts of the Sales Manager in achieving sales goals and providing quality customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Travel associated with direct promotion of products and services to national level accounts. Attendance to industry tradeshows and industry function representation. Expected travel 35-50% of the time.

Technical Responsibilities:
Executes prospecting calls, to transportation industry database, manage established sales territory and generate new sales.
Initiates prospect set-up information.
Maintain existing prospect database.

Requirements:

Skill Requirements
Sales and customer service skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to efficiently deal with other Sales Reps and prospects.
Must be able to efficiently operate office equipment, i.e. telephone, copy machine, fax machine, and personal computer.
Requires HS diploma and prefers 1-2 years of telemarketing and related customer service experience.
Prefers knowledge of transportation industry, or ability to assimilate information rapidly.
