The Recruiter is responsible for fulfilling assigned requirements for their office by thoroughly qualifying potential consultants and actively managing the Successful Placement Process. Additionally, the Recruiter is responsible for proactively developing relationships and gathering business intelligence through frequent contact with his/her consultant network.  He/she is responsible for using available tools to build and maintain a strong consultant network and effectively manage daily responsibilities and associated reporting requirements.  The Recruiter works in partnership with Account Managers to proactively recruit against the sales pipeline keeping the overall needs of the office in mind. 

 

Successful Recruiters will have the opportunity to be promoted into the Sales/Account Manager role.

 



 

Essential Functions:

 

Identification Process: 

?  Utilize internal database to identify potential candidates

?  Place job requirements on the Internet to increase available candidate pool

?  Develop creative recruiting resources to attract qualified professionals interested in contract, contract to hire and direct placement employment

?  Identify networking activities such as attending career fairs, professional association meetings, calling on technical schools and outplacement services

 

Hiring Process:

?  Responsible for screening candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions

?  Conduct skills testing, office interviews, reference checks and background investigations

?  Present job opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiate contract terms

?  Maintain excellent documentation with the company?s on-line system as well as hard files within the Branch Office

 

Management Process:

?  Prepare resumes for presentation to clients

?  Coach candidates through the client interview process

?  Build relationships with contract employees through different activities including weekly lunch meetings

 

 

Key Accountabilities and Priorities:

 

?  Establishes and effectively utilizes systems that support continual relationship building with new and current consultants.

?  Works in partnership with Account Managers to support client relationships and proactively use their consultant network to recruit against the sales pipeline.

?  Procures productive referrals from consultants, clients, and peers.

?  Negotiates fair market compensation packages with consultants that also ensure competitive margins for TEKsystems.

?  Develops and maintains knowledge of the company to effectively position TEKsystems with their consultant network.

?  Develops and maintains competitive intelligence through the use of industry, market, and client publications and continued development of consultant relationships.

?  Integrates competitive intelligence into recruiting strategies as a differentiating advantage to win new business for TEKsystems.

?  Consistently meets or exceeds expected business results.

?  Partners with other TEKsystems Recruiters to improve the success of the team on a local and national level.

 

 Education/Background:

 

A Bachelors degree or relevant business experience is required for this position.  Relevant experience could include having professional or internship experience in sales, recruiting, marketing, or customer service.  The candidate should be PC literate in the Windows environment with specific knowledge of MS Word, IE, Outlook, and the Internet.  The candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong problem solving abilities.
