Regional Sales Manager, Food- West

Job Description
Responsible for: Achieving regional, annual volume/sales objectives Managing multi-million annual budget within region Forecasting/making plans for region Manage Account Managers, Key Account Managers and/or Broker Managers, within territory - help them set and understand goals/objectives, monitor performance, and complete performance reviews Train and develop team members through formal sessions and informal "on the job" training Participate in "Top to Top" meetings with ALL customers in region to review performance Review business strategies, TRACC plans, and manage Trade Funds within region within set guidelines Conduct retail visits Execute business initiatives aligned to Brand Strategy and Category Development

Requirements


In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have: Minimum 5 - 7yrs experience in sales at a Region Level Volume Responsibility -Experience managing over $10 MM Sales Leadership Experience managing a staff and/or Brokers as applicable Proven ability to manage a $45-60 MM Budget with P/L responsibility Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, direct, assist, and motivate Travel Required- 65% BS/BA. MBA preferred.

Report to VP/Director of Sales Interfaces with: Top Accounts, Finance Manager, Brand Dir, Head of Trade Development, Customer Marketing Mgr) Achieving annual volume and business plans Direct & Indirect Shipment Volume KPI (share, distribution, consumption) measured through syndicated data and other data sources Special Pack Forecast accuracy Profitability of the Accounts including deduction management Increase overall PEP rating and Performance
