SALES ENGINEER – Custom Material Handling / Packaging Equipment

THE COMPANY The Company offers complete, custom system layout, design, manufacturing and installation of engineered material handling systems to fit its clients? unique needs?..from the most basic material handling solutions to fully automated systems. It supplements its in-house capabilities by representing several major manufacturers of conveyor, crane and monorail equipment serving a variety of industries nationwide.

The Company?s product lines include:

 Specialty Conveyor Systems from Belt & Chain Conveyors to Palletizers, Turntables & Transfer Cars

 Packaging Solutions including Strapping & Stretch Wrapping Equipment & Compression Stations

 Crane & Monorail Systems & Lift Equipment

THE POSITION

SALES ENGINEER ? Custom Material Handling / Packaging Equipment

This Position will report to the Company President and be responsible for generating new and continuing sales, nationwide but with a focus on the Southeast. It will manage the complete sales process to include client contact, preliminary design, pricing and proposal preparation and presentation. It will also monitor installation, coordinate customer training and provide technical support as needed. The Position is also responsible for maintaining ongoing client relationships.

The successful Candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of technical sales experience encompassing both Pre and Post-Sales Engineering responsibilities. This experience will be in Material Handling / Packaging Systems in a manufacturing environment. Computer proficiency plus expertise in mechanical /structural design is required. Experience selling to the Automotive Industry will be a Plus.

A BSME or Equivalent Experience is Required
