Sales Director, Western Region

Major Duties & Responsibilities: ?  Responsible for insuring sales goals are consistently achieved.

?  Leading and developing a sales culture that provides a 100% customer satisfaction experience without sales pressure.

?  Conduct recurrent training with teams on recurring visits to Cruise business partner ships.

?  A leader with experience in training, motivating and managing a sales organization of individuals & teams

?  Ideal candidate will possess experience in selling vacation club packages, or any type of travel related product

?  Responsible for overseeing that the sales teams adhere to the Sales SOPs, Marketing SOPs and Quality Assurance Program ?  Management of Cruise business partner sales team personnel through the on board Program Managers.?  Make sure sales process, communications, presentations, and all sales processes are up-to-date, accurate, and properly implemented by all Cruise business partner teams.

?  Responsible for clear and accurate communications between home office and the Cruise business partner sales teams.

?  Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of Cruise business partner sales results and ship activity to senior management of the Company. 

 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities ?  Strong understanding of travel and cruise industry

?  Minimum 5 years experience in managing and directing sales teams?  Senior Sales and Strategic Account Management experience  ?  Requires excellent communication skills ? written and verbal?  Requires strong presentation skills ?  Must be able to work well in a fast paced environment

?  Hands on? leader and business leader
?  Must be self starter with proven sales results
?  Proven experience in achieving and exceeding financial goals
?  Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
?  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
?  Sales Management skills must include sales analysis and reporting skills

 

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration?  5+ years travel industry experience?  5+ years in consumer or business sales?  5+ years of management experience

?  Demonstrated strategic planning skills

?  College Degree or Equivalent Working Conditions

?  Travel expected approximately 50% for this position (airline travel, cruise ships, etc.)

?  While in the Phoenix office, desk work typically 8+ hours a day

?  Fast-paced environment, multiple demands and many business changes

?  Working on computer ? typing on keyboard (regular or modified)

?  Using telephone and e-mail communication
