Job Purpose:
The Heinz Sales Representative sells Heinz products to foodservice distributors and operators.
He/she manages at least one primary distributor account by providing all necessary sales service and support. This includes working with the Distributor Sales Representatives in training them and growing the complete Heinz product line. A strong emphasis is placed on selling newly launched products.
The Heinz Sales Representative will provide solution selling to foodservice operators on new menu ideas, culinary trends and consumer insights. He/she will discuss ways that Heinz products can be incorporated into the menu offerings.

Principal Accountabilities:
Managing the sales relationship at the distributor level.
Developing new business opportunities at restaurants, schools, healthcare and general class of trade.
Working with food distributor representatives, educating them with information on Heinz products, training them on the brands and partner with them to sell Heinz products.
Building new and enhance existing customer relationships within sales territory through key operators.
Conducting sales presentations for small and large groups.
Preparing and provide customers with product samples, and educate them on Heinz products.
Providing Region Manager with sales data and reports.

Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
Sales experience in the Foodservice industry is preferred (with a distributor, manufacturer or broker)
Experience working in a food operations is a plus
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong math ability and financial knowledge.
Must be a self-starter and demonstrate personal initiative for high results.
Willing to relocate in the future is a plus
