Vacation Club Sales - Onboard Cruise Ship!

ICE & Solutions At Sea have an awesome opportunity for experienced sales professionals to work and live onboard a Cruise Ship!!

 

This position requires you to work on onboard for 6 months at a time.  if you are unable to meet this requirement, please do not apply!

 

Position Purpose:  

The Sales Associate will be responsible for conducting face to face sales of Carnival Vacation Club while on board identified cruise ships.  Ensuring sales goals are met by effectively interacting with guests to communicate the benefits of the product in a low-pressure approach, and following those relationships through to sales.

 

 Major Duties & Responsibilities:  Present and sell Carnival Vacation Club Vacation Club to Carnival Cruise Line guests while onboard designated Carnival Cruise ships

 Meet or exceed individual performance and sales revenue goals in an environment with high expectations for adherence to policies and procedures

 Contribute to the overall achievement of team sales goals by transitioning roles as needed to maintain a cohesive and successful sales team

 

o Introduce Carnival Vacation Club to guests, provide high energy interactions to motivate interest in potential new clients 

 

o Conduct one on one ?no pressure? sales presentations to interested, pre-qualified buyers to determine the best package product for their future vacation needs

 

o Minimum sales requirement $40,000 sales per week with goal of $60,000 gross sales each week.

 

o Follow through with all aspects of the sales process including initial contact, presentation, sales agreements and all related paperwork

 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

 Demonstrated public speaking skills

 Demonstrated relationship building skills with customer

 Ability to work in a team sales environment

 Driven to provide superior customer service at all points of contact

 Minimum Qualifications for ConsiderationAbility to work 6 concurrent months followed by 2 month leave

 Must posses a valid passport, or be eligible to be issued a passport

 Minimum two years experience in a face to face sales environment offering big ticket, membership based sales products

 Minimum two years experience working in a team sales environment with both individual and team performance sales goals

 Proven track record of exceeding established sales goals

 Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel and E-mail

 Preferred Qualifications for Consideration

 Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field

 Travel/Leisure industry experience

 Sales experience in a guest services environment Working Conditions

 

o Must be able to work 75-80 hours per week, mostly on their feet.

 100% Travel - Operations are located shipboard, the successful candidate will be comfortable with spending weeks at a time at sea

 This position requires flying to ports for departures

 While at sea, days, nights and weekends are included in the standard work schedule

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Physical demands of the Sales Associate include:  standing for long periods of time operating sales kiosk, carrying and transporting sales items - ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Carnival Vacation Club employees will be subject to the same physical requirements of all Carnival Cruise Ship employees including, but not limited to: ability to pass lifeguard swimming tests, ability to assist in ship fire and safety drills.
