Histology Team Leader: (click on title to apply)

 

Organize and lead a team of technicians to execute assigned studies. Work with study directors, team leaders, and other staff to schedule, price, and execute studies ensuring compliance with GLP regulations and health and safety practices. Perform technical duties including sectioning, embedding, microtoming, staining, cover slipping, preparing reagents and solutions. Ensure quality of the work completed. ASCP board certified histology technician experienced in general histology laboratory skills. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Position requires excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary to maintain a cooperative and team focused environment.

 

Associate Biologist: (click on title to apply)

 

Knowledge of general microbiology and/or molecular techniques, and experience handling biohazard material. Must be amenable to work in a BSL-3 environment with select agents. Experience with BSL-2 and BSL-3 a definite plus. Will work in the BSL2 and BSL3 labs applying in vitro techniques to government and private contracts.  Will support animal studies by performing a variety of tests on infectious pathogens and select agents via in vitro techniques. Will assist in tissue preparation for additional laboratory work and conduct experimental assays using standard operating procedures and use good laboratory practices. Will develop and use assays for antiviral/vaccine projects.  GLP experience desired.
