Quality Control Chemist

We are in need of a Quality Control Chemist to conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in process, and finished formulations according to SOPs. Successful candidates will apply knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) on a daily basis. Principal duties will include performing routine QC testing in a cGMP compliant laboratory, preparing buffers and reagent solutions, compiling data for documentation of test procedures, preparing reports, reviewing data obtained for compliance to specifications, and following SOPs for all aspects of analytical testing as well as performing specific GMP tasks for which training has been received and documented by the Quality Assurance Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine tasks necessary for uninterrupted laboratory operation and responsible for routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.

The position requires a BS degree in Chemistry or other related field as well as knowledge of basic analytical instrumentation and understanding of scientific principles. Experience in routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and final product is also required. HPLC experience is preferred.
