Quality Systems Specialist/GMP Auditor

Food Safety

Steritech offers a broad range of quality assurance services from vendor certification and supply chain quality to retail brand integrity audits and consulting.

We currently have an opening for a Quality Systems Specialist in the Sacramento and surrounding areas. 

Responsibilities IncludePerforming food safety and quality system audits at manufacturing level Developing and maintaining client relationships Facilitating communication of food safety and quality system information to clients Client training and education on food safety policies and procedures Data entry and report writing This position will travel extensively throughout the entire West Coast, up to 75% overnight travel Quality Systems Specialists work from a home office; the candidate does not have to live in Sacramento

Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in a science and/or comparable experience in food safety, microbiology or quality assurance Strong technical knowledge of food safety and GMP auditing Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential A valid driver's license and good driving record Candidates must be well organized and comfortable working independently GAP auditing experience a plus
