Senior Wellness Director

Job Overview

Senior Wellness Directors are responsible for providing excellent leadership to the wellness department and increasing member retention.  The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, effective customer service and product knowledge, passion for communicating the benefits of healthy lifestyles and ability to design/implement programs tailored to the needs of the community.  We are looking for a Wellness Directors at the following locations: 

 Dr. P. Phillips YMCA Family Center (Wellness Director III)Avalon Park YMCA Family Center (Wellness Director II) - New Facility!

   

Job RequirementsBA/BS in Exercise Science or related field strongly preferred3-5 years of strong supervisory skills demonstrated in past job experiences5-7 years previous customer service experience in a wellness environmentDesire to interact with people of all ages and exercise levelsExcellent communication skillsCPR/AED and First Aid Certification
