Air freight Coordinator

Job Purpose:
Process incoming orders; follow-up through tracking and customer service; responsible for scheduling on-time pickups and deliveries in a fast paced environment; customer order fulfillment from conception to invoicing.


Duties:
* Field incoming orders via phone, email and fax.?

?

* Registration of all orders and confirmation of order status through all parties involved.

?

* Cost effective and time sensitive routing of all orders.

?

* Tracing all orders and updating systems on a real time basis.

?

* Collection of POD information, carrier invoicing and entry into systems.

Skills/Qualifications:
Computer skills; data entry, phone skills, customer service, attention to detail; all are a must.

Internal Communications, Informing Others, Verbal Communication,?Persistence, Meeting Goals.

Previous experience in a transportation and Air freight / Logistics is a must.??Relocation assistance is not available.?
