International Freight Forwarder Operations Manager LAX

We are searching for an International Operations Manager to oversea and manage Both Import and Export Air and Ocean Product Services. The opportunity is open due to the current manager being promoted to another position within the company.
Our client is a well known International and Domestic Freight Forwarder that is headquarted in L.A.

In this role you will lead a staff of 3, manage carrier costs, monitor compliance of TSA and FMC regulations, pitch in as needed on all desks...Ocean Import Export, Air Import/Export, be involved with overseas agents and local sales reps requests for quotes, handle shipment booking, determine most cost effective routings, manage GP on all files, ensure billing of shipments are handled in a timely and accurate manner once confirmed on board, and get of the office on occasion for team sales calls.
