Project Coordinator - PMO

SUMMARY

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the PMO Project Management Team by providing Project Management administrative support with meeting agendas and minutes, Primavera WBSs, Primavera time tracking and reporting, and Project Management Methodology application.

PRIMARY DUTIES
Assist the Project Management Team

? Establish realistic tasks and activities for projects
? Anticipate basic resource needs
? Identify and break work down into discrete and measurable tasks
? Define dependencies
? Plan Activities and tasks
? Organize work for assignments and responsibilities
? Track project Deliverables

Act as Liaison between Project Management and Project Team

? Collect and coordinate project related data
? Assist the PMO with rolling out proper procedures / practices
? Document project processes and procedures

Project Analysis

? Document verification
? Project Reports
? Assist with Primavera Time
? Primavera Project Plans
? Project resource allocation reports
? Project resource usage reports

Define/Use of Project Management Tools/Methodology

? Use Primavera Suite
? Monitor resource time and productivity
? Mentor and monitor other team members on Primavera tool as required
? Establish/maintain regular communication w/ team using all available media
? Assist Project Managers with project audits, preparing project binders, conducting and documenting lessons learned

Facilitation / Liaison

? Assist PM?s with coordinating and facilitating weekly status meetings
? Maintaining clear and ongoing communication with project members, project manager about project plan, tasks, and objectives regularly
General
? Provide backup assistance to Project Managers during vacations, etc. to ensure that project plans are consistently administered
? Participate in Project Coordinator meetings, Project Manager meetings, and PMO meetings


REQUIRED SKILLS

? Bachelor?s degree in Business, Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
? 2+ years exp on a project team.
? Excellent communicator w/well developed inter-personal skills.
? Excellent written communication & organizational skills
? Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint.
? Exposure to and familiarity with Project Management Methodology.
? Proficiency in Visio & Primavera a +.
