Quality Control Supervisor

Coinstar is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor.

 

Coinstar Entertainment Services, a leader in amusement vending, has an exciting opportunity in our Van Nuys facility.  We are seeking a hands-on Quality Control Supervisor with experience in a remanufacturing environment. This position will help us establish a World Class production environment and act as a facilitator to implement Corporate Technical Services processes.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

- Provide plant management with quality trends and metrics as required for analysis.

- Organize and supervise the quality department and personnel to assure quality directives are met.

- Analyze and respond to customer service and field quality issues.

- Support purchasing and vendor quality issues.

- Conduct training of manufacturing and warehouse personnel.

- Coordinate with Corporate Technical Services department for continuous improvement and reliability issues.

- Supervise and/or conduct MRB and Corrective Action activities.

- Conduct audits to assure compliance.

 

Qualifications:

 

- AA degree preferred

- Minimum of 5 years related experience

- Computer proficient in Word and Excel

- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing
