The Transportation/Logistics Supervisor is responsible for supervising the routing process for PowerMax. Position Responsibilities Supervises and directs the daily load planning activities and operations for PowerMax.Utilizes Manugistics Transportation software on a daily basis to ensure optimal daily routes, cube utilization and cost controls.Coordinates Optimal Store Routing (OSR).Coordinates outbound container shipments with drayage company.Establishes and distributes wave plan for daily routing.Interacts frequently with third party carrier.Coordinates load plan for shipping department.Completes daily reporting.Demonstrates a commitment to OfficeMax core values of safety, integrity, process improvement and customer satisfaction.The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing.  Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.

Position Requirements 
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Six months proven supervisory or lead experience
Radio Frequency and system experience
Certification and competency on all types of forklifts
Effective oral and written communication skills
