Business Operations Manager

With offices based in Sydney Australia, New York and now opening in Culver City, CA and then expansion into New Zealand and more, Mobile Messenger offers a full managed service to it's clients and has fast become a leader in the Mobile Entertainment Industry. Established in 2000 Mobile Messenger has grown to now include a workforce of over 60 staff globally and as a result of this growth offers a unique opportunity for a Business Operations Manager to join our new LA team. 

 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer you are responsible for the day to day management of the US Business Operations team, targeted with driving revenues and gross margin for the Mobile Messenger US office.

 



Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

 Day to Day management of the LA based staff and office.  Management of US based team including account managers, sales reps, and service delivery teamWork closely with Australian team to plan, develop and implement sales & operational strategies for the USLiaise with US based suppliers, partners and clientsProvide leadership, direction & mentoring to LA teamCreate and track KPIs with the goal of continuous improvementCreate and maintain operating procedures, and provide staff with appropriate training

 

Essential Skills/Attributes

 

? Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business related discipline

? 3+ years experience in Management role

? Strong business acumen

? Strong leadership qualities

? Ability to manage and motivate a team in high pressure environment

? Ability to prepare detailed reports and metrics for Senior Management

? Ability to work independently and supervise/train employees

 

Desirable

 

? Post-graduate qualifications in any Business related discipline

? Experience with Salesforce CRM

? Experience in the mobile entertainment industry

? Skills in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures

? Experience in working effectively within a international team
