We are currently seeking a Director, Hispanic Marketing to join our team.

 

Summary:

The Director, Hispanic Marketing is responsible for planning and coordinating all internal and external Hispanic marketing activities. The individual must know how to plan, execute, oversee and evaluate different types of marketing initiatives from beginning to end. Examples of these initiatives include but are not limited to regional advertising campaigns, event marketing activities and other non-traditional programs.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  Serve as the Hispanic marketing expert for the Los Angeles Metro Division and Region

  Work with the head of Multicultural Marketing to develop detailed marketing plans.

  Recommend and manage initiatives to increase Hispanic sales/recruiting results.

  Collaborate with cross-functional and other corporate groups to enhance the company-s visibility in Hispanic communities..

  Support related advertising campaigns and assesses marketing opportunities throughout the Los Angeles region

  Research and analyze the needs, trends and buying patterns of consumers.

  Develop marketing initiatives through associations and other access points to the market.

  Coordinate, through partnership with regional marketing and division sales Hispanic community and industry public relations events and communications

  Coordinate a calendar of Hispanic marketing events, based on quarterly and annual initiatives.

  Track and report progress of Hispanic marketing initiatives at stated intervals.

  Creating and managing HISPANIC/LATINO initiative budget

  Developing and/or updating brochures and marketing material

  Provide market analysis, initiate market research, monitor promotional results, create effective customer retention programs and implement appropriate training programs.

  Review, analyze and develop marketing and subscriber budget performance reports to determine the trends in and effectiveness of various marketing activities within the system.

  Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor?s degree (Master?s degree preferred) in business or marketing or the recognized equivalent in work experience or a combination of work experience and education.  7+ years of marketing experience, MBA preferred but not required.  Strong contacts/influence within HISPANIC/LATINO community, including business leaders, organizations, political and opinion leaders.  Ability to recognize and understand cultural nuances, similarities and differences.  Integral knowledge of HISPANIC/LATINO professional and social organizations.  Strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be fluent in Spanish, written and verbal.
