Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

Analyze financial and/or operational information and help to translate into meaningful feedback for departments with recommendations for improvement aimed at maximizing revenues or operating efficiencies. Perform root cause analysis on usage and/or financial trends. Partner with accounting to audit, validate and/or dispute invoices from network service providers and service vendors. Partner with Network Engineering, IT Client Support Systems, and Accounting to develop and/or propose circuit tracking database. Perform reconciliation, monitoring, process documentation, and analysis of billing processes and systems. Ensure that processes are documented, measured, and accurately reported. Support ongoing development and validation of business rules and operational processes. Manage disputes associated with Local Exchange Companies (LEC), Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLEC), and Inter-exchange Carriers (IXC. Assist sales and operations groups with the development of processes and controls while ensuring the impacts to other processes are considered. Support development of related recommendations and business cases for presentation to business partners. Align with cross-functional groups and manage assigned projects to successful and timely completion.

Financial Analyst Required Experience:

2+ years related experience with in a financial analyst field. BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field. Must have a completed degree to be considered for this position. Detailed analytical database background supported by superior organizational, verbal and written communications skills; strong presentation skills. Excellent project planning, analytical skills, decision making and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. A self-starter with the ability to determine a breakdown in process and take the project from infancy to completion. Strong matrix management skills that will allow the individual to gain respect from all levels of management in all departments and partner to maximize revenue and cost saving opportunities. Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Visio.
