NetVersant is currently interviewing for an exceptional STRUCTURED CABLING TECHNICIAN in Phoenix- Chandler. 

 

GENERAL SUMMARY

Works with general supervision of the Structured Cabling Director of Cabling, or other designated position to install structured cabling systems and equipment.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/KNOWLEDGE

? Assists co-workers with installation and routine maintenance of structured cabling systems

? Removes and rearranges equipment at on-site locations

? Tests, adjusts and troubleshoots equipment

? Provides appropriate customer service when responding to a customer request or fulfilling project requirements

? Handles orders, paperwork and transports materials to work-site

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED

? High school diploma or GED

? 1-2 years in related field

? 1-2 years experience installing and servicing Cat 5, 5e, 6 and fiber optics, knowledge of TIA/EIA standards or BICSI certified preferred

? 1 year performing equipment troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance for structured cabling systems.

? Applicants must have a current driver's license with a good driving record.

? Capable of working effectively with co-workers and fulfill customer requests

? Past Intel jobsite experience in structured cable systems a plus

? BICSI experience a plus

? Employment contingent on satisfactorily passing a drug test and 10 year background screen.
