Job Overview

ATS is looking for a Telecommunications Provisioning Specialist who will work for the Director of Planning & Engineering.  The Telecommunications Provisioning Specialist requires an individual with excellent organizational skills to coordinate the procurement, setup and installation of telecommunications to our field camera sites throughout the US.  This position requires significant focus and follow through with a high level of focus on the details.  The individual needs to have a solid working knowledge concerning telecom provisioning.

 

Responsibilities

? Plans network installations by ordering service and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools, working with internal installation team assessing installation site and preparing an installation diagram.

? Work with planning & engineering team to ensure that site surveys contain relevant information to accommodate telecom provisioning

? Follow up to ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timeline manner

? Manage communication invoices from Telco vendors verifying proper service and timely payment.

? Work with ATS team members to ensure that telecom objectives are met

 

Experience Required

? Associates or Bachelors Degree

? Minimum of 3 years experience in same or similar role

? Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities

? Excellent communication skills

? Solid working knowledge of various types of business class internet services including DSL, Cable, T1

? Network knowledge is required

 

Work Environment

? Office work using a computer

? Some travel may be required
