Government Sales Representative

The ideal candidate will: Have experience in the field of government sales Possess excellent communication skills, be detail oriented, have a willingness to travel, and the ability to work independently but within a team environment Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of our organization?s products and/or services to government agencies Demonstrate proven successful performance; selling experience and in depth knowledge of government contracting/sales Need to be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals set by supervisor Have a certain degree of creativity and latitude when it comes to accomplishing set goals Possess promotional product sales and/or silk-screening/embroidery experience a plus but not required Own strong current relationships with government buyers and/or GSA / Federal Supply Service also a plus Perform a variety of tasks Report to a supervisor or manager
