Purchasing Assistant

Multi-tasking position to coordinate purchasing activity of domestic and imported products.  Duties include:  vendor correspondence on fabric color standards, lab dips, approval/rejection of production samples,  data entry of specifications and order entry of purchase orders, updating order status, shipping status of purchase orders, tracking shipments, clearing shipments via customs agents, and accounts payable vouchers.

 

Canadite must have accurate data entry skills and be able to evaluate samples for approval based on prior determined specifications.

 

Position salary plus medical insurance, and 401 K match/profit sharing.

Carr Textile offers a full line of embroidery backings which includes Tearaways, Cutaways, Fusibles, Wovens, and Water-Soluble.  Our die cutting and slitting equipment allow us to offer these products pre-cut shapes or slit to width.  Carr Textile also offers biasing and slitting service for your material.
