Allied Building Products Corp., America?s Market Leader in the building products distribution industry is growing. Our growth has created a career building opportunity for a Dispatcher.

This position is responsible for all delivery routes by managing and dispatching appropriate staff and act as a reliable communication link between the sales team and customers

Responsibilities include:
? Schedule all deliveries daily
? Manage truck load within DOT regulations
? Maintain RTA compliance
? Impart safety policies/procedures to staff
? Maintain adherence of OSHA regulations
? Plan delivery routes efficiently
? Schedule appropriate employees/vehicles for deliveries
? Maintain accurate delivery log book and review weekly
? Manage customer will-call
? Act as a conduit between the sales team and customers during deliveries
? Assist with deliveries when necessary
? Follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction

Must have:
? Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
? Good written and verbal communication skills
? Good customer relations skills
? Ability to operate all trucks and lifts
? Good time management skills
? Must have good knowledge of OSHA and DOT requirements
? Computer skills
? Experience with logistics and distribution
Able to lift 30-50 pounds
