Maersk Line is the world's largest provider of containerized transport solutions. Right now, we are seeking highly organized individuals to become familiar with each of 52 terminal operation guidelines, labor contracts, limitations and constraints ? to then effectively support and coordinate our North American liner operations.

 

Working at our offices in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, NC, you will be responsible for communicating all terminal load and discharge instructions pertaining to North America, monitoring North American systems and data accuracy, meeting load list deadlines, and monitoring export and transshipment idle cargo. Working in a 24/7 environment, you will maintain close relationships with terminal operators, coordinate issues between our Liner Operations and other Departments, respond to requests and provide guidance to our Mumbai Shared Service Center, and maintain workflow efficiency.

 

To qualify, you must have a Bachelor?s degree or a minimum of 3 years? experience in the transportation industry. Experience in one (or more) of the following fields is strongly preferred: terminal operations, liner operations, customer service, or intermodal operations. Candidates must be computer literate, detail-oriented and have strong interpersonal, communication & organizational skills. Availability to work second shift (as necessary) is required. The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
