ICF International has partnered with the New York State Department of Transportation, Environmental Analysis Bureau, to develop and implement the New York region?s Ozone Action Days Program, an outreach and marketing program designed to reduce the emissions that contribute to poor air quality.

 

We seek an Account Manager to contribute to the employer outreach strategy to encourage reduction in vehicle miles traveled in the New York Metro Area. The Ozone Action Days Program is an important element in the New York region?s strategy to reduce motor vehicle emissions and comply with federal air quality standards. Emissions reductions through this program will decrease ground-level ozone, the primary component of urban smog, and particulate matter. ICF will expand the program to become a year-round air quality program, addressing pollutants that cause respiratory problems and other adverse health impacts, particularly for sensitive individuals, such as children, the elderly, and people with asthma. The Account Manager will work directly with employers to promote actions that will encourage transportation mode shifts, telecommuting, and other air-pollution reduction methods by employees; assist employers in developing affinity reward programs to encourage alternatives to single occupant driving; develop employer surveys to evaluate the program; work closely with local Transportation Management Associations to coordinate with transportation demand management programs, and work closely with the consumer outreach team to coordinate messaging targeted to drivers. 

 

Experience working for or closely with a Transportation Management Association and 10+ years of experience working with transportation demand management issues required. Experience working directly with companies to set up events and programs related to transportation required, Bachelor?s Degree and marketing or sales experience preferred.
