Office Manager

We are Vista Moving & Storage and we are looking for an Office Manager for our Yuma, Arizona location.  Our beloved Office Manager is retiring and we need a strong, new person to work on the team.  The General Manager is a great coach and mentor and a delight to work with. 

 

Vista is a five person office:  General Manager, Office Manager, Move Coordinator, Sales Person, and an Office Administrator.  We offer a competitive salary and great benefits including vacation, sick, holiday pay, medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

 

The primary purpose for this position is to complete, lead, and coordinate activities for employees in the areas of accounting, information technology, human resources, customer service, and general office management.  The Office Manager is also responsible for dispatches in the absence of the General Manager.

 

Candidates need to have accounting and leadership experience, as well as a strong skill set that includes written and oral communications, problem-resolution, critical thinking, and time management.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Efficient and accurate office operations.Supervise a staff of 2 to 3 people.Assist the General Manager with organizational objectives.Report writing.Prepare, calculate, and maintain records for payroll.Maintain records and perform bookkeeping duties.Serve as the location HR representative and work in concert with the Corporate HR Team.Promote harmony among workers and assist in resolving grievances.Assist staff with computer installations and IT operating issues.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Strong written and oral communication skills.Strong mathematical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Business Management preferred.
