Maersk Line is the world?s largest provider of containerized transportation solutions with a service network that spans six continents and consists of over 325 offices around the world. Right now, we are seeking a detail-oriented individual to coordinate the flow of all regional rail traffic at our offices in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, NC.
Working closely with rail vendors, regional dispatchers and local operations personnel, you will provide internal customer support and status updates to Maersk Line departments. You?ll also work with rail vendors to anticipate & resolve problems impacting transit and/or delivery, measure & document performance standards, and perform budget analysis (based on traffic patterns) to achieve unit cost reductions.
To qualify, you must have a HS diploma (or equivalent), experience in the transportation industry, and proficiency in MS Office applications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. Bachelor?s degree preferred. Must be available to travel and work shifts, as necessary.
