Safelite Glass Corporation, the market leader in aftermarket auto glass replacement, repair and distribution, has an immediate opening for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor at our Bakersfield, CA operation. As a Warehouse Lead, you are responsible for the efficient and customer focused operation of Safelite' warehouse.

 

Responsibilities include:Recruiting, hiring and training warehouse associates in all aspects of their responsibilities, including OSHA safety requirements. Working with the district management team, wholesale sales, and corporate staff to identify cost efficiencies and sales opportunities. Ensure the security of all company assets. Ensure that all paperwork is completed and inventories are conducted. Maintaining productivity of all warehouse associates including monitoring and evaluating their performance.

 

To qualify you must:Have a minimum of 2 years Lead/supervisory experience. Have a minimum of 4 years warehouse experience. Have strong communication skills and the ability to train and motivate team members. Be highly organized and computer literate. Be able to operate warehouse lifts, packing equipment, and company vehicles. Have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record. A college degree is a plus.
