Weight and Inspection Specialist

Our Phoenix Terminal has an immediate need for a Weight and Inspection Specialist to become a member of our engaged team of transportation professionals.  The primary objective of this position is to perform inspection activities, conduct freight studies, density studies and to assist in rating accuracy.

?  Must be at least 18 years of age.

?  2 years college or equivalent work experience.

?  Above average planning, organizational, follow-up, attention to detail and proofreading skills.

?  Demonstrated mathematical, measuring, computer and photographic skills.

?  Accuracy in math, reporting and data entry.

?  Basic to intermediate computer skills with an emphasis on excel, numerical data entry, and photographic transfers.

?  Ability to meet or exceed goals and directives.

?  Ability to work harmoniously with others; including peers and customers.

?  Willing to work in flexible work schedules in all types of weather.

The W & I Specialist position is a full-time, exempt, 50 hour per week position. The compensation package includes a competitive salary, generous benefit programs, plus opportunities for bonuses.
