Client Service

A.P.A.W. Veterinary Hospital is seeking a mature, dynamic, energetic Full-time Client Service member to join our team. We are a 4-doctor practice with a warm family- oriented and customer- friendly environment. We offer complete diagnostic services, dentistry, consultation, boarding, and more!



RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Answer multi-line phone system

- Meet, greet, and assist clients throughout their visit; provide exceptional Client Service!

- Schedule appointments

- Invoice clients and collect payments

- Prepare and maintain patient records

- Sort incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.

- Operate office equipment (fax, copier, printers, etc.)

- Perform additional general office duties and work on projects as needed.



REQUIREMENTS:

- Professional appearance: Friendly, warm, mature, and professional demeanor.

- Superior communication skills

- Multi-task with strong organizational skills

- Previous veterinary office experience required

- Flexible schedule with emphasis on afternoon/evening hours and rotating Saturdays.

- Willingness to work with animals

- Knowledge of veterinary terminology


 

The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience with heavy telephone coverage and superior customer service skills preferably in a fast paced medical or dental setting. Must be able to work independently with little supervision, multi-task, and pay close attention to detail. In addition, the candidate must be highly organized, as well as computer literate and a fast learner. The ability to handle several telephone calls while waiting on clients in a demanding atmosphere while remaining pleasant, professional and courteous to all is required.
