Sr. Veterinary Technician

As the Sr. Veterinary Technician you will lead, manage and train an outstanding veterinary nursing team that ensures quality veterinary care. You will also play a crucial role in managing client traffic and educating clients on all aspects of Pet health while maintaining a safe and effective hospital environment.

 

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills by mentoring and providing continuous development opportunities for other team members. You will use your Veterinary Technician knowledge to ensure that exam rooms, pharmacy, surgery and treatment areas are consistent with hospital standards. 

 

Additionally, you will also be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising the Veterinary Technician staff and ensuring all staff members comply with local, state and federal laws.

 

Requirements for the position include:

?  High school diploma or GED required

?  Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree, veterinary technician certification or licensure or 3 years' related experience preferred

?  Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

?  Must be comfortable around Pets
