Veterinary Technician

Our hospital is an avian, exotic, and small animal practice. One of our doctors is ABVP certified in avian practice, and the other doctor is ABVP certified in feline practice. We are open 7days a week. The hours we are open are 8am-6pm Monday through Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8am to 5pm.?We work four 10 hour days the shift is from 8am to 7pm (which means you would have three days off in a week.) The position can be full or part time and you need to available to work one weekend day.

We offer full time employees medical, dental, and disability insurance after six months, also paid vacation after one year.?Compensation for the position depends on the experience and productivity; we also offer profit sharing compensation.

We are looking for a team player who can work quickly and competently under stressful situations. We require a minimum of one year experience working with dogs and cats; we are willing to train avian and exotic handling techniques.?Having the knowledge of drawing blood, setting up IV catheters, and taking x-rays are a plus.?West Valley Pet Clinic

Our hospital is computerized, equipped w/ serum chemistry analyzer, laser cell counter, digital radiography systems (whole body and dental) rigid endoscope for birds?and IM3 high speed dental system.
