Small Animal AAHA Certified Hospital in Castro Valley, CA. is looking to hire an RVT for our one Dr. small animal hospital.  Applicant must have experience working as a technician and enjoy using all of your skills.

 

DUTIES:

 

Customer Service Running Lab workRecord Keeping

IV Catheters  Assist in Surgery X-Rays

Administer Meds. Intubations Surgery Prep.

Urinalysis Draws  Dental CleaningsDrawing Blood

Assisting the doctor Patient MonitoringAnimal Restraint

Anesthesia monitoring CPR  Ability to multi-task

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Knowledge of Animal Behavior, Documentation Skills, Clinical Skills, Customer Service Skills. Creating a Safe Effective Enviorment, Performing Diagnostic Procedures, Use of Medical Technologies, Attention to Detail, Patience, Verbal Communication.
